Im a girl(obviously) around the ages of 10 and 11. I like to draw, bike, swim, eat ice-cream, watch movies, and anything to do with computers ! I often try to update my wiki page (please excuse spelling mistakes) My favourite hobbies are drawing and reading. If you are a really good reader, who understands a few difficult words and LOVES ancient Greek or Egyptian mythology then you should read the Heroes of Olympus series (greek) or the Kane Chronicles(egypt) both by Rick Riordan a.k.a. the creator of Percy Jackson. Im a very big fan of comics and manga. . Im also a EXTREMELY HUGE fan of the DC Universe and Marvel Comics!(i probably sound like a geek now)! .My favourite colour is all shades of blue!!My fav singers are One Direction, My fav boy band is One Direction and my fav songs are by One Direction (not all of them:)

My Year 6 Duties;
Librarian(im a very keen reader)
Term 1: In term 1 we went to Camp. Our camp was at Long Bay and it is called Camp MERC. At camp we did heaps of activities . They were:
Archery
Surfing
Stack 'Em
Raft Building
Rock Climbing
Abseiling
Tree Climbing
My group didn't get to do Tree Climbing which is sad because we all REALLY wanted to do it! During surfing I very nearly stood up but as soon as I tried I fell off my board. I did manage to kneel though! In term 1 we also did Waterwise. My favourite activity in Waterwise is KAYAKING!!!! My waterwise group got to jump out of our kayaks once! It was really fun. When I jumped out I thought that the water would be deep, but guess what? It wasn't! I could touch the ground (or oceanfloor). Waterwise is one of my favourite activities at school.

Term 2:
This term we had a visit from Mrs. Winstone's brother George (who is in a circus)! He and his partner Lil taught us some cool circus tricks. My fav was slapstick! We also went on a trip to the Maritime Museum in the city. It was sooo fun! We got to ride on the Ted Ashby boat and we sailed underneath the Harbour Bridge. We also saw a few people who were about to jump off and so we started chanting : JUMP!JUMP!JUMP!JUMP!. At the Maritime Museum we saw a movie called Te Waka. It was about how the Maori people found New Zealand. We had a great time.
Philip Dadson, a sound artist, visited the Year 6 and displayed some of his instruments and played them. He was apart of a group of artists who went to the Kermadecs.
TERM 3: This term we have:
Production Cross Country(boo!)
and some other things but i can't remember them.
Term 4!!!!!! Wow! Term 4 already! Last term of Primary and then its off to R.I. We have Athletics this term and the social coming up! Also Waterwise is on again!(Yay). Our topic this term is Structures.
Yesterday it was Halloween. Halloween is more of an American thing but people here still celebrate it.
